The Executive Director of the Argus Foundation is Sarasota County Commissioner Christine Robinson:

To date, the Board of Argus has been silent despite Rallies and repeated requests for an explanation to the public of why they believe there is no conflict of interest in hiring a public officer to work for a private business lobbying group.

Over 800 people have signed a Petition asking Ms. Robinson to choose to resign from one of her two positions.
